Letters: Gun laws, police did me no good

When I was a victim of a gun crime in November 1979, I called the police and my father. My father came an hour and a half ahead of the officer, who went to two wrong addresses. Of course the two crooks got away.

Gun control was no help to me. Gun laws ensure criminals are armed where victims aren’t.
